Just substitute Democratic Politician for algae and LBJ?s Great Society for fungi in the attached image and not only do you see the cyclical effect of how entitlement policies take on a life of their own, but how hard it is to stop the drain on a society?s vigor once this symbiotic relationship is entrenched.
